How long will it take to receive my order?

It has a protective coating of polyurethane,however we recommend you display your artwork in a weather protected area or take indoors before winter. It's also a good idea to screw into the house or board so the wind will not pick up and blow away! Back to Top How big are the slates? 8x10 is the usual size however the slates are hand cut and are approximate sizes. I get my slates from a local dealer who gets them from old slate roofs here in Maine. Back to Top Can I have a custom order with someone's name on it? I will take custom orders. There will be an additional $5.00 charge and it may take a little longer for you to receive. Back to Top How can I get a pet portrait of my cat or dog? You will need to send at least three photos of your pet and preferably in a sitting positon. The photos would be returned. Back to Top How big are the pet portraits? Usually a large pet can only be painted from the neck up as the slates are too small to do it justice. Lifesize paintings can be done on 1/4" birch plywood with a stand on the back to place in front of fireplace in the summer or about the home. Pet portraits on wood are approximately 18"x 24". Back to Top What are the prices? The 8x10 slates are $45.00 and the larger ones (lighthouse or betsy ross flag) are $50.00, these are usually 8 1/2 x 11. Pet portraits on wood are $75.00. The pet portraits on slate are $50.00. These would be only the upper portion of the pet (neck up). Back to Top What are the shipping costs? Shipping and handling are included in the price.
