Maine lighthouse. 8x10 $45.00. The Portland Head Light is the most photographed lighthouse in the country. This beautiful lighthouse is there to greet sailors from afar as they enter the Casco bay. This lighthouse was commissioned by President Washington and was the site of the shipwrecked Annie C. Maguire on Christmas Eve 1886. The lantern was illuminated for the first time on January 10, 1791 by it's first keeper Captain Joseph Greenleaf who was appointed by President Washington.
